Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company committed $35 million to British technology firm Paragraf, joining a $55 million Series C funding round.
According to a recent press release, the deal gives Mubadala a 12.8% stake in the UK-based company, which develops graphene-based components for electronics, according to a filing on a UK government website.
Proceeds from the round will support Paragraf in scaling its manufacturing capacity and boosting output to enable broader adoption of graphene-powered technologies. Simon Thomas, Co-founder and CEO, said the fresh capital would help expand production of faster, more energy-efficient solutions to meet growing commercial demand.
