Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), through its Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), launched the second edition of the “Saudi Game Champions” program to cultivate the Kingdom’s growing video game industry.
The initiative begins with a “Game Jam,” giving aspiring developers a platform to showcase ideas, collaborate with peers, and receive expert feedback. The top 20 teams from this stage will advance to an incubator program supported by the National Technology Development Program, ITMAM Consultancy, GameBCN, and Zigzag Ventures.
Finalists will gain access to industry mentors, market insights, and technical guidance to transform their concepts into playable prototypes. The program will conclude with a showcase where participants present their games to leading publishers, investors, and gaming experts, opening doors to funding and commercial partnerships.
