New funding will fuel platform development and supplier growth ahead of Saudi rollout

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Cairo-based digital startup Meyahh, which helps small and medium-sized businesses source components for water treatment plants, is preparing to launch operations in Saudi Arabia by the end of the first quarter of 2026.

Mohamed Mokhlaf, the company’s Co-founder, told the Fintech Gate that the company has already obtained an Entrepreneurship License from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, granting wider commercial and digital activity rights than a standard investment license. He described the Kingdom as a “highly promising and tech-ready market,” noting that Saudi companies are more advanced in digital adoption compared to Egypt.

The planned expansion follows Meyahh’s recent $200,000 funding round, which will support platform development and supplier network growth. Mokhlaf highlighted that the Saudi water treatment sector is expanding rapidly amid rising demand from industrial, hospitality, and government clients, presenting “significant opportunities for faster growth” than in the company’s home market.

Founded in 2023, Meyahh provides a digital procurement platform that streamlines sourcing for pipes, pumps, filters, and control systems, aiming to cut purchasing time by up to 80% and reduce costs by about 20%. The company targets handling transactions worth $3 million by the end of 2026, with Saudi Arabia positioned as a key growth driver.
