Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company (stc) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with HUMAIN, Saudi Arabia’s artificial intelligence (AI) company, to establish a joint venture (JV) through its subsidiary, Center3, to develop and operate AI-focused data centers across the Kingdom.
The JV will focus on developing advanced infrastructure with a high operational capacity of up to 1 GW of required load to operate data centers, starting with an initial capacity of up to 250 MW, as announced in a bourse filing today by stc.
HUMAIN will hold a 51% stake in the JV, and stc will hold the remaining 49% stake.
The new JV will combine Center3’s scale, data center leadership, and extensive regional connectivity with HUMAIN’s strategic mandate to champion end-to-end capabilities, paving the way for high-capacity, low-latency infrastructure critical to the AI era.
This partnership reflects stc’s commitment to reshaping Saudi Arabia’s digital future. It also supports the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by localizing advanced digital infrastructure, enabling the development of AI capabilities, and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional digital hub.
