Company eyes data centers and large businesses with its PrimeLoop solution

Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Ammar Alali, Co-Founder and CEO of Strataphy, said the company has developed a new solution to address cooling challenges that cost Saudi Arabia an estimated $15 billion annually.

Speaking on the sidelines of the DeveGo 2025 Conference, Alali explained that Strataphy’s PrimeLoop technology leverages subsurface temperatures to deliver highly efficient cooling systems for businesses, reducing electricity costs for cooling by 40 to 50 percent.

He noted that Strataphy adopts geothermal cooling through its innovative “Cooling as a Service” model, which enables clients to access sustainable and energy-efficient cooling solutions without the need for significant upfront capital expenditure. The subscription-based model covers system design, installation, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring consistent performance and long-term energy savings.

Alali added that the company primarily targets mega and large-scale businesses, revealing that Strataphy is currently executing four projects, with an additional ten projects expected to begin next year. These projects are anticipated to generate cost reductions ranging from hundreds of thousands to several million dollars.

He also highlighted data centers as a key focus area, describing the sector as fast-growing and highly dependent on continuous, large-scale cooling solutions. Alali concluded by stating that Strataphy is currently serving the Saudi market and is preparing to expand internationally, with several global partnerships set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Social Development Bank has launched the second edition of DeveGo 2025 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. The event runs from 21 to 23 December, under the patronage of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of SDB’s Board of Directors, Ahmed bin Sulaiman Alrajhi.
