
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Social Development Bank (SDB) signed 51 agreements during the second edition of the Entrepreneurship and Modern Business Practices Forum (DeveGo 2025), reinforcing its role in building an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The deals included innovative financing portfolios, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and local and international partnerships that expand access to financial and non-financial solutions, according to a recent official statement.
The bank also announced the launch of the Saudi Empretec Fellowship initiative, designed to support high-potential entrepreneurs through intensive training, mentorship, and access to global networks, helping them scale their ventures and compete internationally.
Sultan AlHamidi, CEO of the Social Development Bank, stated: “Through strategic partnerships, innovative financing solutions, and global programs such as Empretec in partnership with UNCTAD, we are empowering entrepreneurs to grow, scale, and compete locally and internationally. Our focus is on supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey while contributing to a diversified and knowledge-based Saudi economy.”
DeveGo 2025 took place in Riyadh from 21 to 23 December, gathering entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and global thought leaders through panel discussions, workshops, and networking activities. It served as a national platform that brought together ideas, expertise, and opportunity, aiming to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and promote modern business practices.
