
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Future Minerals Forum 2026 (FMF 2026) will host the Start-Up Derby, in partnership with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), to foster startups in the mining sector.
The Start-Up Derby takes place on 14 and 15 January at the Minerals Café, serving as an open platform for startups to showcase emerging technologies and innovative business models across various mining fields, connecting innovators with potential investors.
The event embodies the convergence of policy, capital, and execution, advancing NIDLP’s mandate to accelerate innovation, attract investment, and scale growth across Saudi Arabia’s industrial and minerals ecosystem.
Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef inaugurated the fifth edition of the Future Minerals Forum, which takes place in Riyadh from 13 to 15 January under the theme ‘Dawn of a global cause: Minerals for a new age of development.’
Featuring more than 400 speakers, FMF 2026 will gather a diverse group of stakeholders, including government representatives, business leaders, multinational organizations, trade associations, and academic institutions.
The forum provides a platform for leaders, innovators, and investors to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of minerals, driving resilience and responsible supply. It will feature specialized themes and dynamic showcases centered around the most critical topics shaping the global minerals industry.
