Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia is undertaking a comprehensive transformation to build a thriving ecosystem for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), driven by the Vision 2030 economic diversification plan. A cornerstone of this effort is financial empowerment, led by key government entities, banks, and financial institutions.

According to the latest monthly bulletin released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), MSMEs in the Kingdom secured total credit facilities worth SAR 467.7 billion during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025, up from SAR 446.9 billion in the previous quarter.

Medium-sized enterprises received the largest amount at SAR 220.9 billion, while small enterprises secured credit facilities worth SAR 163.5 billion. Credit facilities extended to micro enterprises recorded SAR 83.2 billion in Q4-25.

Saudi banks extended total credit facilities of SAR 446 billion in the last quarter of 2025, while finance companies provided credit facilities worth SAR 21 billion. These figures demonstrate the Kingdom’s commitment to establishing a supportive and sustainable environment for SMEs to grow.
