Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, Monsha’at, announced the launch of the “Funding Week” in collaboration with the SME Bank, aiming to improve entrepreneurs’ access to funding solutions.
The event will run from 3 to 7 May 2026 across Monsha’at’s support centers in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, and Al Khobar, bringing together more than 30 enabling entities. It is part of a broader initiative to strengthen financing opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the Kingdom.
The week will host a range of government entities, including the Capital Market Authority and the Saudi Central Bank, alongside over 28 financial and advisory institutions. The initiative is designed to help SMEs explore funding options and connect directly with key stakeholders in the financial ecosystem.
The “Funding Week” will feature more than 50 panel discussions and eight roundtables with industry leaders. Topics will include lending and investment pathways, SME readiness for funding, and awareness of government-backed initiatives which supports businesses by reimbursing certain government fees.
The event will also include a Demo Day, allowing startups to pitch their projects to a group of investors, enhancing funding prospects and offering direct mentorship opportunities.
Through this initiative, Monsha’at aims to empower SMEs, expand their access to financing, and support their long-term growth and contribution to the national economy.
