
Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Dubai Chambers announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wio Bank to provide alternative banking services for its members and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Under the agreement, members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce will benefit from a simplified digital business account opening process through Wio Bank, as well as improved access to financing and credit solutions, according to a recent press release. The initiative is designed to help SMEs manage cash flow, invest in growth opportunities, and improve operational efficiency.
On this occasion, Khalid AlJarwan, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, said the partnership represents an important step in equipping the business community with tools that enhance innovation and competitiveness.
Meanwhile, Prateek Vahie, Chief Commercial Officer at Wio Bank, said the collaboration extends Wio’s mission of simplifying banking for SMEs by reducing barriers in account opening and financing.
The partnership aligns with Dubai Chambers’ broader strategy to support the development and expansion of the emirate’s SME sector.
