Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: PIF-owned AI company HUMAIN and KORA Systems Inc. have announced a strategic engineering and co-development partnership to build HUMAIN OS, an enterprise-grade, AI native Linux operating system.

Unveiled at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, the collaboration combines KORA’s operating system and edge AI expertise with HUMAIN’s capabilities in AI models, agentic technologies, enterprise platforms and infrastructure.

The companies are demonstrating an early version of HUMAIN OS at LEAP, with commercial availability planned for 2027. The platform is designed to shift computing from application-driven interactions toward an intent-based model, enabling users to state an objective while the system determines the appropriate intelligence, applications and computing environment.

The joint development will cover operating system architecture, hardware integration, AI runtime, security, device management and user experience.

HUMAIN is also developing an on-device AI layer optimized for Qualcomm computing platforms, targeting a 26 billion parameter model running locally on a Qualcomm NPU.

The companies said HUMAIN OS will also support enterprise data access, semantic search, agentic computer use and AI-powered productivity tools.

The fifth edition of LEAP 2026 runs from 31 August to 3 September at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.

The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 global speakers and experts, 1,800 technology companies, 600 startups and 1,900 investors and venture capital representatives, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a hub for technology and innovation.
