
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: SAL Logistics Services announced it has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with CIMC’s Middle East and North Africa Regional Headquarters covering cooperation in logistics infrastructure, logistics zone development, and opportunities to attract Chinese companies and investments to Saudi Arabia.
As per a recent press release, the agreements were signed through SAL Logistics and its subsidiary SAL Zones. Under the first MoU, SAL Logistics and CIMC will explore cooperation in cargo handling systems, automation, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and handling and transportation equipment.
The two sides will also assess the potential establishment of a logistics hub serving CIMC Group and its subsidiaries to support assembly, manufacturing, and distribution activities in the Kingdom.
The second MoU, signed with SAL Zones, covers opportunities to develop facilities and warehouses within the SAL Logistics Zone in Riyadh. It also includes efforts to attract Chinese companies and customers to the zone and identify potential investment opportunities and joint projects.
CIMC is a global provider of industrial and logistics solutions and equipment, with expertise in infrastructure development, cargo handling, transportation, and related technologies.
The MoUs are intended to support logistics cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China and contribute to the development of the Kingdom’s logistics ecosystem in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
