Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Singapore-based investment company Temasek plans to establish an office in Riyadh as part of a broader Middle East expansion, strengthening its engagement with Saudi Arabia and seeking new investment and partnership opportunities across the region.

The Riyadh office, alongside a planned office in Abu Dhabi, is expected to become operational in the first half of 2027, according to the company’s press release. The offices will serve as strategic hubs for Temasek and some of its portfolio companies.

Temasek also plans to deepen engagement with institutions in Qatar and other Middle Eastern markets, with the expansion aimed at accessing opportunities across the region as well as Central Asia and Africa.

On this occasion, Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara, Temasek CEO, said the Middle East is an important part of the company’s global network, highlighting the region’s economic transformation and long-term growth prospects.

Meanwhile, Chia Song Hwee, CEO of Temasek Global Investments and Chairman of Middle East & Africa, said a local presence would strengthen relationships with partners and enhance access to investment opportunities.
