
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) won the Founder Catalyst Award during the GEN Compass Awards Ceremony, held at the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) in Indianapolis, USA, the authority announced in a statement today.
This recognition reflects Monsha’at’s dedication and success in connecting, inspiring, and empowering startup founders through impactful GEN programming.
Monsha’at was selected among the finalists for investing over $4 million in direct support for emerging companies through the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC). The program has facilitated access to new markets, introductions to investors, dozens of new contracts, and extensive cross-border networks for 400 rising founders.
The GEN Compass Awards recognize excellence in entrepreneurship, policymaking, investor support programs, and research, and honor those who are making a difference in helping entrepreneurs start and scale around the world.
The GEC 2025 took place from 2 to 5 June and gathered founders at all stages of development, policymakers, investors, and support organizations from all economies to share ideas and drive economic growth.
