Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Messe Frankfurt announced the establishment of a dedicated subsidiary in Saudi Arabia to strengthen its presence in the Kingdom’s fast-growing events sector.

As per a recent press release, the new unit will oversee the company’s business activities, focusing on locally tailored platforms, strategic partnerships with government bodies and associations, and efforts to support the country’s economic diversification under Vision 2030.

Azzan Mohamed has been appointed Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia, as he will manage the current portfolio, including Beautyworld Saudi Arabia, Automechanika Riyadh, and Intersec Saudi Arabia, while also developing new sector-specific formats.

He said the company is committed to building purpose-driven platforms that empower industries and enhance the Kingdom’s international profile as a hub for trade fairs and events.

Messe Frankfurt also announced plans to introduce the Achema Middle East trade fair in Saudi Arabia in 2026, in partnership with the Dechema association.

The Messe Frankfurt Group is the world’s largest trade fair, congress, and event organiser with its own exhibition grounds. With a workforce of around 2,500 people at its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and in 28 subsidiaries, it organises events around the world.
