Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) launched the second edition of its Accelerator Program, aimed at helping startups and tech firms develop AI solutions for pressing government needs.

This year’s programme drew strong interest, with more than 1,300 applications from local and international companies, including major players such as IBM, e& and Capgemini, according to a recent press release. Dubai government entities submitted 105 AI use cases, of which 15 have been selected for further development.

Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of DCAI, said Dubai’s AI ecosystem is expanding rapidly, with many global startups relocating to the city. He noted that since the launch of the Dubai AI Seal—an official certification system for trusted AI technologies—there has been a noticeable rise in both the number and quality of AI companies choosing Dubai as a base.

Organized in partnership with the newly established Dubai Founders HQ, the programme connects startups with government bodies to co-create solutions, exchange expertise, and accelerate innovation. Following testing and implementation phases, the initiative will announce the selected startups and winning AI solutions.
