Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Jarir Marketing Co. is accelerating its retail expansion across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, with a series of new showroom openings as part of its growth strategy.
Speaking to Al Eqtisadiah, Chairman Muhammad Bin Abdulrahman Alagil said the company has opened three new stores over the past four months, with plans to reach five openings by the end of April and a total of seven new showrooms by the end of the year. Recent additions include branches in Al Baha and Medina, alongside a store launched late last year near the Clock Tower area by the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
In April alone, Jarir expanded further with two new outlets, one in Kuwait City and another in Riyadh’s Granada district, reinforcing its presence both locally and regionally. Additional openings are already in the pipeline for the coming months.
The expansion comes as the retailer continues to enhance customer access across key markets, supported by rising footfall in stores and growing engagement on its digital platform. Alongside its physical growth, Jarir is also investing in its e-commerce operations and recently introduced a device trade-in service to improve the in-store and online customer experience.
The company’s push into new locations, particularly in the Gulf, signals a broader regional expansion strategy, with Kuwait and Qatar highlighted as key growth markets.
