
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources revealed it issued 322 new industrial licenses in April 2026 and announced the start of production at 188 factories during the same month, highlighting continued momentum in the Kingdom’s industrial sector.
According to the ministry’s latest press release, investments associated with the newly licensed projects exceeded SAR 12.33 billion and are expected to create more than 2,977 jobs nationwide. Meanwhile, factories that entered production during April represented investments worth SAR 2.01 billion and are projected to generate approximately 3,606 jobs.
The ministry said the figures demonstrate the ongoing expansion of Saudi Arabia’s industrial base and the growing pace at which manufacturing projects are moving into operation, supporting the Kingdom’s broader economic diversification and industrial development goals.
