Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: DP World announced it has launched operations at its first multi-client third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse in Saudi Arabia, expanding its integrated warehousing and distribution network in the Kingdom.
Located in Riyadh's Al Mashael Logistics Hub, the 15,250-square-metre facility offers more than 17,000 pallet positions and provides scalable storage, inventory management and distribution services for businesses across manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, automotive and industrial sectors, as reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The non-bonded warehouse allows customs-cleared goods to move directly into the domestic market, helping customers reduce lead times and improve inventory availability. Its location also provides direct access to major transport corridors linking Saudi Arabia with Gulf markets.
Mohammad Alshaikh, CEO of DP World KSA, said the new facility will give businesses greater flexibility, visibility and speed while strengthening supply chains across the Kingdom.
The Riyadh warehouse complements DP World's logistics operations in Dammam and forms part of its broader investment strategy in Saudi Arabia. The company is also expanding the Jeddah South Container Terminal and developing the $250 million Jeddah Logistics Park, a 415,000-square-metre facility expected to become the Kingdom's largest integrated logistics park.
