Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi e-commerce platform Salla announced it has acquired fintech company Paylink as part of its strategy to expand financial services and build a more integrated ecosystem for merchants.
Through the acquisition, Salla plans to enhance payment acceptance and management across online stores and physical points of sale, according to the company’s press release. The integration could also support technologies such as SoftPOS, enabling merchants to accept payments through compatible devices.
Paylink, a Saudi fintech company licensed by the Saudi Central Bank to provide e-commerce payment services, has developed infrastructure supporting electronic payments for businesses and merchants.
Salla said Paylink’s infrastructure can support international transactions, multiple currencies, and payment methods, helping Saudi brands expand into regional and global markets.
On this occasion, Nawaf Hariri, founder and CEO of Salla, said financial services are a natural extension of the company’s mission to simplify business growth for merchants.
