Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi-based SaaS accounting platform Jazr.io announced in an X.com post the closing of an investment round with participation from Bandar Khalid, founder of Modawar, to support its expansion and accelerate financial management automation for the food and beverage (F&B) sector.
Led by CEO Mohamed Al-Moshawh, Jazr.io plans to use the new, undisclosed capital to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its platform, transforming it from a traditional accounting and data-entry tool into a smart financial advisory solution that provides analytics and supports business and investment decisions.
The cloud-based platform operates on a subscription model and helps restaurants and cafés manage accounting, inventory, and financial workflows. Its solutions are designed to help large chains scale operations without a proportional increase in accounting staff, while providing SMEs with streamlined accounting infrastructure at lower operating costs.
As part of its post-investment roadmap, Jazr.io plans to strengthen automated financial and regulatory compliance tools and integrate point-of-sale (POS) systems with inventory management to support F&B businesses with high transaction volumes and multiple outlets.
