Dubai - Sharikat Mubasher: Ayan, a Dubai-based AI startup, successfully secured DH 2.2 million in a pre-seed funding round from a group of strategic global angel investors to accelerate its expansion beyond the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Ayan is an AI brand perception agentic platform that analyzes millions of data points on how AI describes brands, measured against each brand's positioning. It operates across every channel where sales happen, from product pages and campaigns before they go live to every sales advisor's phone, measuring how each action changes AI answers.
The startup was founded in 2025 by Pablo Charron and Chakir El Messaoudi and serves more than 50 brands across MENA, Europe, and North America.
“There is a version of your brand you have never read. It is the only one your customers meet, and it is already deciding who gets recommended, without you in the room. Ayan reads that version, acts on it wherever the customer decides, and measures what moved,” Charron said.
Along with the funding, Ayan announced the appointment of Vincent Carvalho as founding board member, and Christian Pedersen as adviser.
