Dubai - Sharikat Mubasher: Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) concluded a strategic cooperation agreement with Buimerc Corporation to explore collaboration opportunities in supporting Dubai’s venture capital ecosystem.
The agreement was signed at the Consulate General of India in Dubai, in the presence of Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the UAE, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Consul General of India in Dubai, and other dignitaries, according to the official statement released today.
The two parties will collaborate across various areas, including sharing market insights and knowledge, helping founders and venture managers establish a presence in Dubai, and running joint ecosystem initiatives such as founder programs, delegations, and events.
The partnership reflects the long-term commitment of both organizations to Dubai’s venture ecosystem, entrepreneurship, and to building institutions and relationships that last.
Arif Amiri, chief executive officer of DIFC Authority, said: “Through this collaboration with Buimerc, we will create new pathways for Indian founders and investors to build from Dubai, scale internationally, and contribute to the next phase of growth between our two countries.”
In turn, Reddy stated that the partnership opens a new chapter for tech and innovation between India and UAE, allowing Indian startups to tap into UAE’s venture fund ecosystem, while fostering greater cross-border collaboration among entrepreneurs and investors across both countries.
Moreover, the partnership aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) that aims to establish Dubai as a leading global hub for innovation and the new economy.
