Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: On the sidelines of the Biban 24 Conference, Hisham Almashal CEO of Up One Games Studio told Sharikat Mubasher that the company aims to shed light on the uniqueness of the Saudi Culture through video games.

The Indie Game Development Studio develops video games that are based on Saudi traditions, taking place in local areas, aiming to show the graceful face of the Saudi civilization to the world.

Almashal added that the Studio provides the “Level Up” project to NEOM city, revealing that UP One Games will land a headquarters there by the completion of construction works in the city.

The CEO pointed out that UP One Games is privileged with the support of multiple entities such as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE).

Up One Games has a mission to design and develop narrative-driven video games that engage and entertain players, creating immersive and innovative gaming experiences that showcase its passion for storytelling, artistic expression, and innovative gameplay. Up One Game aims to export culture and build a reputation as a leading game development studio, attracting top talent and loyal fans alike.

Expected to welcome over 160,000 visitors, Biban 2024 will provide 10,000 investment and entrepreneurial opportunities, 420 workshops for over 19,000 beneficiaries, and consultation and guidance sessions for more than 5,000 beneficiaries.
