The company announced the launch of AppyThings Arabia following two years of operations in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Dutch cloud and AI infrastructure company AppyThings announced it has launched AppyThings Arabia, a new legal entity in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Kingdom’s digital transformation efforts under Vision 2030, according to a press release issued by the company.

The move follows two years of operations in Saudi Arabia, where the company has seen growing demand for cloud, data, and API infrastructure that supports scalable digital services and enterprise AI adoption. The expansion comes as Saudi Arabia continues to accelerate its digital government agenda, ranking second globally in the World Bank’s 2025 GovTech Maturity Index.

AppyThings, a Google Cloud partner headquartered in the Netherlands, said it has worked with more than 100 customers globally and has built a growing client base across Saudi Arabia and the wider region in sectors including government, healthcare, financial services, and telecommunications. The company also noted that its regional workforce has tripled over the past two years.

The company was recently named Google Cloud’s Apigee Implementation Partner of the Year in Saudi Arabia for 2025, highlighting its role in API-led digital transformation projects across the Kingdom.

Shazali Taha, Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa at AppyThings, said the launch of AppyThings Arabia reflects the company’s commitment to supporting organizations seeking to modernize systems securely and build AI-ready digital services.

As part of its Saudi expansion, the company also appointed Ahmed Raafat as Country Manager for Saudi Arabia and said it had secured new enterprise and government clients across the region.
