RCOA is a non-profit association that provides support to restaurant and café owners

Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubaser: Khaled Alqurashi, CEO of The Restaurants and Cafés Owners Association (RCOA) told Sharikat Mubasher, on the sidelines of Biban 24 Conference, that RCOA is a non-profit entity that provides support to restaurant and café owners. He continued that RCOA works in 3 directions: empowerment, representation, and integration.

As for empowerment, RCOA offered several workshops and training programs, in addition to participating in a SAR 600,000 project that resulted in the launching of 3 studies, with the remaining studies to launch very soon.

Regarding representation, Alqurashi added that RCOA is now representative of a part of the restaurant and café sectors in front of relevant entities such as ministries and governmental bodies.

Finally, regarding integration, Alqurashi said that the association seeks to create an integrated business community through a number of supportive initiatives and programs, as well as organize meetups that mainly aim to build ties between investors for the good of everyone within the sector.

To become a member of the RCOA, the CEO asserted that membership is totally free of charge, with no conditions required, except that a member should have started a career in the field and in active status.

Expected to welcome over 160,000 visitors, Biban 2024, which runs in Riyadh from 5 to 9 November, will provide 10,000 investment and entrepreneurial opportunities, 420 workshops for over 19,000 beneficiaries, and consultation and guidance sessions for more than 5,000 beneficiaries.
