
MSMEs in Saudi Arabia secured credit facilities worth more than SAR 351.7 billion in Q4-2024
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The credit facilities extended to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Saudi Arabia surpassed SAR 351.7 billion in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024, representing 9.6% of total credit facilities.
A recent report by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) stated that medium-sized enterprises secured the largest amount of credit facilities at SAR 187.2 billion, followed by small enterprises with SAR 122 billion. The micro-sized enterprises obtained credit facilities valued at SAR 42.3 billion in Q4-24.
Saudi banks provided credit facilities worth SAR 333.5 billion, while finance companies extended SAR 18.2 billion to MSMEs in Q4-24.
