Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Bupa CareConnect, the healthcare arm of Bupa Arabia, is positioning itself at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s digital health revolution, announcing four strategic partnerships to support innovation and expand access to smart, preventive care in line with Vision 2030.
The company signed agreements with international health tech leaders GOQii, Comarch, Nuralogix, and We Healthify, aiming to develop a more responsive, AI-driven healthcare ecosystem. The announcement came during the 6th MENA Telehealth & Virtual Care Expo, held recently in Riyadh, where Bupa CareConnect was a Gold Sponsor.
Dr. Abdullah Khafagy, Executive Medical Director at Bupa CareConnect, said the partnerships are designed to build a more agile and predictive digital health system. “Each partnership adds a new layer of intelligent, proactive care—allowing us to detect, prevent, and respond to risks before they escalate,” he told attendees during a keynote speech on chronic care management.
Khafagy highlighted Bupa’s rollout of real-time AI services, its mobile digital clinic pod, and a claims management system driven by machine learning. He also spotlighted “Bupa Pro,” a no-preapproval initiative available in 10 hospitals and Bupa’s virtual clinic, allowing patients direct access to care without bureaucratic delays.
“Digital transformation in healthcare must be anchored in real, human-centered outcomes,” Khafagy said. “Our model blends cutting-edge technology with compassion—reimagining care that is easier, faster, and more personal.”
The company recently received two national awards from the Council of Health Insurance—for “Digital Innovation” and “Innovative Sustainability”—cementing its reputation as a private-sector leader in digital healthcare.
