Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi-based Future Harvest for Food Industries Company (FHFI) inaugurated its freeze-dried food factory in Sudair Industrial and Business City with investments amounting to SAR 150 million, a recent statement revealed.
The factory, built over an area of 7,500 square meters, aims to localize the food industry and contribute to achieving food security in the Kingdom, in alignment with Vision 2030 goals.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Khalil Salamah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industry Affairs, and representative of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) and the company.
FHFI is the first company in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to use freeze-drying technology, providing high-quality products in innovative methods and competitive prices.
FHFI further has a freeze-dried research and development (R&D) center that serves business and research sectors as well as non-profit organizations.
