
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment announced signing two memoranda of understanding (MoU) with the Social Development Bank and the Esports World Cup Foundation during the New Global Sport Conference in Riyadh.
According to the Ministry’s announcement on X.com, the agreements are designed to accelerate the growth of the Kingdom’s gaming and esports sector, attract high-value investments, and boost Saudi Arabia’s competitiveness as a global hub for digital sports.
The Esports World Cup Foundation, established in 2023, is the organizer of the world’s largest esports tournament, hosted annually in Riyadh. It plays a central role in positioning Saudi Arabia as a leader in competitive gaming by bringing together top teams, major publishers, and millions of fans worldwide.
The New Global Sport Conference, held this year in the Saudi capital, serves as a platform for global stakeholders to discuss the future of sports, with a focus on innovation, investment, and the convergence of traditional and digital sports industries.
