Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF), an initiative of the UAE Ministry of Finance, announced it has provided an AED 1.5 million credit guarantee to Emirati GovTech startup 01Gov to support the expansion of its AI-powered government solutions platform.
As per the MBRIF’s press release, the funding will help accelerate the development of 01Gov’s proprietary platform and its agentic AI system, “One,” which is designed to support government entities with trend monitoring, benchmarking, innovation management, and knowledge-sharing tools. The company said the backing will enable it to scale operations and meet growing demand from public sector clients.
Fatima Yousif Alnaqbi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the UAE Ministry of Finance and the ministry’s representative at MBRIF, said the support reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering innovation, advancing digital transformation, and strengthening national capabilities that contribute to a knowledge-based economy.
Saeed Al Dhaheri, Partner for Artificial Intelligence and Future Foresight at 01Gov, said the funding aligns with the company’s goal of supporting the UAE’s ambition to become a global leader in AI-powered government services.
MBRIF’s Guarantee Scheme aims to improve access to affordable financing for innovative startups, supporting businesses that contribute to the UAE’s economic diversification and long-term development.
