Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Tencent Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Tencent, announced it has entered a partnership with TruKKer, a technology-enabled logistics and transportation company operating across the EMEA region, to strengthen the latter’s digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
Announced as Tencent Cloud prepares to participate in LEAP 2026, the partnership will see TruKKer, described as MENA’s largest digital freight network, migrate its platform to Tencent Cloud’s Saudi Arabia region and adopt CodeBuddy, Tencent Cloud’s AI-powered coding assistant to enhance its DevOps practices and operations, according to a recent press release.
The agreement builds on Tencent Cloud’s growing investment in the Kingdom following the launch of its first Middle East cloud region in Saudi Arabia in 2025. The company has committed more than $150 million to infrastructure, resources and operations in the region.
Tencent Cloud also recently secured a Class C cloud service provider license from Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space and Technology Commission.
The partnership comes as businesses across the Kingdom accelerate cloud and AI adoption, supporting Saudi Arabia’s broader digital transformation goals under Vision 2030.
