Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: HUMAIN, Saudi Arabia’s artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced a strategic partnership with Mistral to develop and localize advanced AI models, primarily focusing on cybersecurity and voice.

The collaboration spans key areas such as AI infrastructure, advanced model development, and the deployment of AI solutions across Saudi Arabia and the region, the Saudi company revealed in a recent statement.

Both companies plan to develop frontier models that perform strongly in Arabic language to help support the broader region. Together, HUMAIN and Mistral plan to develop a joint go-to-market strategy in Saudi Arabia focused on bringing advanced AI solutions to regulated industries. Mistral will explore using HUMAIN’s data center infrastructure to support growing local compute needs.

The partnership aims to meet growing demand for sovereign AI and reflects a broader shift in how AI is being adopted globally through partnerships that combine local infrastructure, market knowledge, and sovereign AI capabilities.  

Moreover, the collaboration will support long-term AI innovation, performance, cost control, and operational sovereignty.
