
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan inaugurated the second edition of Money20/20 Middle East, the region’s largest fintech event, today.
In his opening remarks, Aljadaan emphasized that the Saudi Vision 2030 expanded financing and investment options and created a more resilient legislative environment for the fintech sector in Saudi Arabia.
He noted that bringing together global financial leaders, investors, and innovators at Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh reflects the Kingdom's attractive financial and investment environment and its ability to navigate change with confidence and resilience.
The minister highlighted that Vision 2030’s third phase, which focuses on maximizing impact and building on the gains achieved, reinforces the Kingdom’s direction to enhance market efficiency, enable the private sector to grow and compete, strengthen Saudi Arabia's ability to attract capital, and expand investment opportunities.
Aljadaan further noted that the Kingdom's achievements across the financial sector have contributed to improving market efficiency, broadening the scope of investment and innovation, and reinforcing the financial sector's role as a key enabler of economic growth. He stressed that the sector's ability to support growth is closely linked to its capacity to navigate change efficiently while preserving confidence and stability.
Money20/20 Middle East 2026 takes place in the Saudi capital from 14 to 16 September, connecting global financial leaders with the companies, institutions, and policymakers shaping the next phase of financial services in Saudi Arabia and across the region.
It brings together over 600 investors, more than 350 brands, over 350 speakers, and more than 150 startups, reinforcing Riyadh’s growing role as a meeting point for the global and regional financial ecosystem.
