Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Universal Cold Store (Prime Markets), a leading grocery retail chain in Saudi Arabia, forged a strategic partnership with Simbe to bring its autonomous shelf-scanning robot, Tally, to the Kingdom.
This milestone will enhance inventory management, improve pricing accuracy, and elevate the customer experience across select Prime Markets locations, Simbe announced in a press release yesterday.
Using advanced AI and computer vision technology, Tally autonomously roams store aisles and scans shelves multiple times a day to identify out-of-stock items, pricing errors, and misplaced products, collecting comprehensive product data.
These insights will help store teams ensure that customers’ desired items are adequately stocked and priced correctly, while also enabling faster fulfillment of online orders.
Nooman Hussain, IT Director at Prime Markets, affirmed the company’s commitment to delivering the highest quality shopping experience for its valued customers. “Based on Tally’s proven performance in stores around the globe, we’re excited to bring this technology to our stores in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he said.
This partnership will enable Prime Markets to gain true visibility to fundamentally transform every aspect of their business, driving excellence, accuracy, and optimization across all channels.
Moreover, Tally helps store teams save more than 30 hours weekly on inventory tasks, enabling better customer service and ensuring products are available and accurately priced.
