
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi fintech barq announced it has signed three cooperation agreements with Distribution Technology, Mastercard, and Floward, as part of its participation in the Money20/20 Middle East conference, to expand its digital ecosystem across mobility, payments, and gifting services.
As per the company’s announcements on LinkedIn, the agreement with Distribution Technology will explore integrated digital ground transportation and mobility solutions by combining barq’s digital capabilities with Distribution Technology’s transport technology infrastructure. The partnership aims to improve the integration of transportation, booking, and distribution services.
At the event, barq also partnered with Mastercard to explore opportunities across payments and digital financial services. The companies will combine barq’s digital capabilities with Mastercard’s global payments expertise to develop more efficient and flexible solutions for consumers and businesses.
In addition, barq signed an agreement with Floward, a gifting and flowers platform, to integrate online gifting into its broader digital ecosystem. The collaboration is expected to expand barq’s service offering and provide customers with greater flexibility in accessing gifting services.
Money20/20 Middle East, the region's leading fintech event, runs from 14 to 16 September in Riyadh, bringing together over 600 investors, more than 350 brands, over 350 speakers, and more than 150 startups.
Throughout three days, the event will connect global financial leaders with the companies, institutions, and policymakers shaping the next phase of financial services in Saudi Arabia and across the region.
