Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: HUMAIN, the PIF company delivering full-stack AI capabilities globally, and DataVolt signed a preliminary framework agreement with Nebius for data center capacity at NEOM’s Oxagon.
Under the agreement, Nebius will become an anchor customer for the planned AI giga campus, with the contemplated offtake representing up to 50MW, half of the initial 100 MW currently under construction as part of the first phase’s planned 360 MW, according to the official statement released yesterday.
The preliminary framework outlines a proposed international customer allocation, set to be announced six weeks after construction begins. The proposed capacity allocation is expected to become operational in phases from the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2027.
This collaboration combines HUMAIN’s full-stack AI capabilities, DataVolt’s infrastructure development and delivery expertise, and Nebius’s demand for data-center capacity to serve a global customer base with high technical needs.
The campus is designed to support next-generation AI workloads, with Nebius expected to deploy NVIDIA-powered computing infrastructure under the agreement to meet growing demand for its AI cloud.
Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, said: “Advancing our commercial relationship with Nebius as our first customer is a significant milestone for HUMAIN and a clear demonstration of the international demand for the infrastructure we are developing. We are building more than data centers. We are creating a globally competitive, full-stack AI ecosystem that connects infrastructure, compute, models, and applications to serve customers around the world.”
For his part, Aiman Al-Mudaifer, managing director and chief executive officer of NEOM, commented: “The agreement between HUMAIN, DataVolt and Nebius reflects growing global demand for AI-ready infrastructure and NEOM’s role in enabling advanced industries. Through Oxagon, we are creating an integrated ecosystem that brings together the key elements global technology companies need to accelerate capacity deployment and scale.”
The agreement supports HUMAIN’s ambition to build an integrated AI ecosystem spanning infrastructure, computing platforms, AI models and applications.
